STEM Communicator

Ruth has worked for science made simple for over 10 years, performing at festivals and schools across the UK and abroad. She develops shows and workshops, and trains students and researchers to communicate STEM subjects. Her particular interests are the science of food, space, and sound, and engaging SEN audiences. She loves getting out into community and festival events with science busking.

Ruth previously worked for the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. She also delivers interactive science workshops for ‘Chemistry with Cabbage’.

She started her science communication career whilst still at university, studying physics. She is LAMDA accredited to Gold standard.
