Science Made Simple operation during coronavirus period

Update: 18 April 2020

Like many organisations, we will be operating on a reduced level while schools, universities and other businesses are unable to receive our face to face services. But don’t let that put you off getting in touch with us if you would like to discuss future plans. Now is a great time to work with us to develop ideas for the coming months.

For Schools – we are taking enquiries from teachers wishing to discuss booking shows and workshops to celebrate schools reopening. We know schools can’t commit to dates right now, but we are happy to take no-fixed-date bookings to help you kick-start your new school STEM activity with impact and enthusiasm. Don’t forget we have online activities in our blog and YouTube channel full of simple science questions and activities that might help with your remote science teaching.

For Research Institutions – many elements of our STEM engagement training are available as live and interactive online sessions, which support student home study. We are also taking enquiries for face-to-face training commissions for delivery later in the year.

Resource development – it’s business as usual for any of our work which can be delivered within UK government coronavirus guidelines.  We will be working with our current clients to schedule work to help everyone working in their new home office environments, and we are taking commissions from new clients.
