Thanks to a partnership with The Open University, in October 2015 science made simple are opening a new branch in Milton Keynes. science made simple are the UK’s leading science show company whose mission is to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

With established offices in Cardiff, Manchester, and Norwich, the science made simple team are expanding their reach with our brand new base in Milton Keynes. Local schools and educators can expect to benefit from having a science made simple presenter in their area.


What do we do?

science made simple travel the country, inspiring and engaging audience with science, technology, engineering and maths. We reach approximately 80,000 individuals per year, and our dedicated team of individuals have a combined professional experience of over 50 years. With the opening of a new location, our presenters will spend less time on the road, and more time sharing their passion for science.

Founding Director of science made simple, Wendy Sadler, said: “It’s incredibly exciting to be working in partnership with the Open University as we share a fundamental goal of making learning accessible and engaging to all. We have a long history of working internationally with partners who have exciting research to share with the world, and we hope to continue to build on this with the world-class researchers and staff at the OU in Milton Keynes and beyond.”

Science made simple are an award-winning independent outreach company with over 13 years’ experience of developing educational performances that tour to around 450 schools each year. We are a social enterprise with a mission to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers and to encourage learning in a fun and interactive way through live performances. We have reached over 750,000 people to date through our performances and many more through our work taking science onto TV and radio shows.
