Over 11,000 audience members, 33 shows, nine countries, three months and two continents. It all adds up to one massive sell-out tour of science made simple's hit stage show - visualise.

"After this 'theatre performance' it was clear to me that science (physics) means much more than I imagined. It was really great and I didn't imagine it could be so" Audience member, Vienna

The Beautiful Science tour, sponsored by the British Council, took the team all the way from Austria to Azerbaijan. Highlights included speaking at the inaugural Belgrade science festival, having dinner with the British Ambassador to Romania and performing in Jerusalem during Hanukkah (the Jewish festival of lights)

"The success of the tour has been far beyond our expectations." reflected performer and co-creator Debbie, "We were blown away by the enthusiasm of the audiences. You can't help but feel the buzz when there's 650 people
responding to your every move."

"I always thought science was boring. My opinion has changed!" Audience member, Ankara

It wasn't all plain sailing. The flame tube was the first casualty when it was damaged beyond repair during transit. The very long days (and nights) rigging theatres and dealing with  customs paperwork also took their toll, but the team rose to the challenge and showed just how resourceful they can be under pressure.

All the hard work paid off with rave reviews and fantastic audience feedback.

"My 6-year-old son has fallen in love with science!" Audience member, Sofia
