Gravity: Beyond the Apple
Think scientists know all about gravity? Think again!
Gravity: Beyond the Apple explains how Isaac Newton almost got it right, but then Einstein came along and blew his theories apart, giving us new challenges – like finding gravitational waves.
What’s a gravitational wave? We explain all with our exciting and interactive show, bringing the curriculum to life.
The show covers gravity on Earth, gravity in space, how to defy gravity and even what a black hole sounds like! Students are stretched and introduced to topics at the cutting edge of physics research.
The show is written by science made simple in collaboration with researchers at Cardiff University School of Physics and Astronomy.
This show is suitable for GSCE-A2 students.
