Discover the science behind the most famous scientist ever! What do CD players and beach balls have to do with Einstein? How can you make time run slowly?
This show looks at the three most famous discoveries made by Einstein in 1905. Brownian Motion proved the existence of atoms. Relativity challenged everyone's perceptions of time and space, The Photoelectric effect launched quantum mechanics and led to many developments that we use today such as lasers. But how do all these things relate to some everyday science?
Using volunteers, demonstrations and lots of audience interaction, we'll get to grips with Einstein's amazing ideas and find out a bit about the work still being done to test them out today.
