New science show commissioned by leading science centre (Research of topic, scriptwriting and props development)
Three series of children's books written for Harcourt Educational publishers (Science of Toys, Machines inside machines, and Science in your life)
Mentor for the EPSRC Public engagement awards (General support and advice for scientists on how to engage the public and evaluate their projects)
Music vs the Machine
This show was developed for a 6th form or adult audience for the SASOL Science Festival, South Africa. It addresses the issues of whether musicians can ever be replaced by machines by looking at the way technology makes music, compared to the way humans make music.
Show in a box
A kit box for those interested in putting small science shows on in a school or for the local community. Includes props, script and suggested show outline.
Visualise
An exciting project illustrating science without words! Using awe-inspiring and beautiful science demonstrations with graphical interpretations of how they work - this presentation - funded by NESTA and the IOP - will be on tour from 2006 onwards.
