New Shows for 2006

To kick start the New Year, science made simple have developed two brand new shows. The shows will premier in March and be available for bookings from April onwards.

The first show is Bubbles and Balloons. This show is aimed at Key stage 1 and 2 and aims to give an introduction to science that your students will never forget! We explore the best bits about bubbles and balloons, from blowing them up to bursting them; discover all the amazing things you can do in between. Can you catch a bubble? Make it last for ever or make it square? Our lively presenters showcase all the amazing bubble and balloon tricks with plenty of oppurtunities for the audience to join in the fun.

The second show, Top Ten Myths, was developed for the SASOL Festival in South Africa for a family or a mixed age audience. It covers ten common misconceptions or myths that people hold about science. Does water travel in different directions in different hemispheres and why does toast always land butter side down, all the answers and more are given in this interactive show. The truth is out there and you may be surprised at what you thought you knew!

Both shows are in our usual style featuring plenty of audience interaction, lots of demonstrations, 'real-world' science and vibrant presenters.
